Bloggy Group Blind Date (complete with Snuggie photos)

I've never been on a blind date...but this is a bit of how I imagine it would feel - especially a group blind date. Will they like me? (I hope so), will they think I'm weird? (of course, 'cause I am weird) or quirky? (remember the whole font conversation? I hope I didn't let too many quirks show) But so worth it in the long run. How much fun is it to get to meet the fine folks I stalk on a regular basis?

Back row L to R - Heather, Julie, Me!, Angi, Kristina P.
Front row L to R - Wendy, Melinda, Heidi, Jana, Kazzy
I heard Barbaloot was there earlier, but alas she was gone when we got there so no photos :(

And April - we missed you...hope you're feeling better!

Here's Miss Heidi - Isn't she so cute? I love that her clothes match her book cover!
She's just as fun and nice as you'd imagine her to be.

Next is Julie from youngblood4ever . I found out I'd won something on her blog a few weeks ago when I was out of town! Cool, but I was called out for not having visited her blog to give her my info!

This is Angi from funkybagfreak - she had a very cool necklace with her blog and company name on it - loved it!

Next is Heather of a goddess in progress (I didn't tell her this, but she looks like she could be part of my sister-in-laws family) (it was her first winter in Utah also) and Kristina P. of pulsipher predilections - she barely got in the door before she was asked if she brought the infamous snuggie!

And now we have Wendy of No botox allowed (and Heather). I gave Wendy a ride. Both our families thought it very odd that we would ride together - having never met before today! So much for "never give a ride to or ride with a stranger"!! They just don't understand our little cyber world!

Kool Kazzy of kazzysponderings next to Kristina P. (doing her best model pose) with Jana of divergentpathways on the right. Jana gave me some great advice about adjusting to life in Utah - when people ask how I like living here, I should say "better than I thought I would" then I won't step on so many toes!

Julie and Heidi

Now - what you've all been waiting for - Slutty Snuggie Photos. The Snuggie is slutty, not us! Kristina P. assured us that it had been washed since it's Britney outing.

Julie and I sharing some Snuggie Love (which is different than Big Love) at a Mexi restaurant I can't remember the name of where the staff thought us very strange. What, no one has ever worn a snuggie there before? Please notice that even though it was rainy out, I still have a little of a cute flip in my hair!! (I'm finally getting the hang of the flip thing - yay!)

Heidi and Melinda of bloggyblather (how is this the only pic I have of Melinda - sorry Melinda!) sharing the snuggie love with Melinda's cute son in the background! (they needed the peekaru!)

Heather and Wendy are sharing the snuggie love with an Native American that the waitress thought they were trying to steal!!

We laughed and chatted and stuffed ourselves and drank lots of caffeinated beverages and yummy fruity drinks.

I think a good time was had by all. Best. blind. date. ever.

I bet it was just as fun as when Robin, Nutty Hamster Chick and I went to WICKED. NHC drove with 3 people she didn't know (my sister-in-law was in the car too). Us cyber peeps are nice!

I'm so glad you had so much fun! I can't wait to meet you myself! Utah grows on you, that's why I moved back. True story.

Can I just tell you how jealous I am? I keep wishing I could meet all my blog friends but I only have one near me, and I am more her blog friend/stalker than she is mine. Plus, just the two of us meeting up would be odd. This must have been so much fun!!!

Why do you guys keep saying how weird it was to ride with people you didn't know? I know more about my blog friend than most of my family members. It is just that you haven't yet met, not that you don't know each other. Looks like way too much fun. I used to eat at Los Hermanos all the time.
